Person Stabbed In Kearny, Suspect Apprehended: Police

A 49-year-old Kearny man was arrested and charged after a stabbing on Friday, Oct. 18 left a man with life-threatening injurie, authorities said.

Officers apprehended William Krebs following the stabbing on Quincy Avenue near Maple Street, Kearny police said. Despite the life-threatening injuries, the victim is expected to survive, police said.

Krebs was charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses, police said. He is currently in the Hudson County Jail, police said.
